Fox Weather launched Monday morning, with meteorologists
Britta Merwin and Jason Frazer beginning the morning by welcoming the audience
to the new 24/7 weather streaming service.

“Viewers can expect to see a friendly, welcoming face bring them their weather forecast. We are going to take weather and science, which can be complicated, and make it easy to understand. Our FOX Weather community will get their forecast in the palm of their hand, making weather very personal and helpful,” Merwin told Fox News Digitial.

Fox announced in December 2020 that it would be launching the new service this year. Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media made the announcement, saying that “it was only natural to expand our footprint to weather.”

The platform features a customizable app, allowing you to decide
which locations you’d like to receive notifications for. Users can watch live
streaming video, along with on-demand forecasts and clips about severe weather.

Weather data available in the app includes:

  • Forecasts for today + the next 14 days
  • 48 hours of hourly forecast data
  • Historical data for 12 months
  • Severe weather warnings both in the app and via push notifications Precipitation chance and amount
  • Dew point
  • Humidity
  • Sunrise & Sunset times
  • Wind speed and gusts
  • UV Index
  • Cloud Cover
  • Air Quality Data

Fox Weather is available online, on the
Fox Weather app, and on Fox NOW and the Fox News TV apps.
